This is kinda sick (in a good way). The hardest part about rap, especially gangster-esque (I wouldn’t say that is weezy’s style as much as unwritten insight with street edge), is commitment to thugishness, shwag or whatever makes that rhythmic talking style over beats worth listening to.
Not everybody can pull it off. Natalie Portman did a pretty good job almost a decade ago. I think Andy Sandberg wrote that one, though. And of course Childish Gambino (Donald Glover from Community and Spiderman in like 5 years-if you were unaware) has his own kind of flyness.
